Here we go with the pretext. I’m not much of a natural musician but it’s something I’ve really enjoyed learning over the last few years and I’d like to share my work and experience.

Early in college I couldn’t even tap my finger in time with the beat of a song. I got introduced to Ableton through a friend of mine and was pretty overwhelmed at first. I knew nothing about harmony, melodies or rhythm but I knew it was something I wanted to get better at

Watching YouTube tutorials was enormously useful while I was learning how to use Ableton. I’ve gotten to the point that I feel comfortable recording myself while I make music. I’m hoping that these tutorial videos are helpful to others that are interested in music. If you find them helpful, please see the link to my Patreon. Your support will allow me to invest more of my time into making these videos.

As I got further into my journey as a music producer I started to enjoy the structures that are hidden in music. Like math, there are a lot of interesting patterns that appear time and time again.
